FMD Summer Intern
Frederick Moms and Doulas is looking for a summer intern!
We are looking for someone to work from our office or remotely. Candidate should be detail oriented, motivated, and have a great desire to empower women in our community through the field of birth work.
This person will be responsible for helping us with our social media presence, assisting in daily office tasks, and managing our events. This includes but is not limited to blogging, social media strategy, client correspondence, and managing event planning and execution.
This person should be knowledgeable of the birth worker field and be pursuing a career in the medical, health, birth worker, nursing, psychology, or other related field. You should be able to describe yourself as technically savvy, understanding of various social media platforms, and supportive of all moms, all babies, and all things motherhood.

Frederick Moms and Doulas has been incredibly blessed with supporting a large number of moms from our community over the last 6 months. Because of our commitment to maintaing a dedicated team with a like-minded approach, we have recognized that we need to bring on another committed doula to serve as a back-up birth doula and postpartum care provider.
We are looking for someone who is certified or seeking their certification as a birth doula. This person should be available on designated dates to serve as the birth doula for clients, as well as be available to be on-call for impending births. They should be located within 30 minutes of the greater Frederick area. Other preferred qualifications would include CPR certification, postpartum certification or experience, as well as training in lactation and breastfeeding.
