May 4, 2018

Mother's Day is around the corner and we figured a post dedicated to some of our favorite gifts that support local mompreneurs was fitting for a Friday Favorites. These businesses are all local to Frederick and are run by strong moms making the best of running businesses and families. Here is our own little gift guide with five of our favorite gift ideas you can find right here in our own backyard for Mother's Day.

1. Erin Pelicano- Personalized Necklaces

The most gorgeous personalized necklaces can be found by local artist Erin Pelicano. We adore them for ourselves. This mompreneur has initial jewelry, mother-daughter necklaces, generation necklaces and even a new line of rings. All are hand crafted and heirloom quality made right here in Frederick! Request one for yourself or find a piece for your own mother or grandmother. There is something for everyone!

2. Maven Beauty Bar- Clean Beauty Products

Rebecca is mom as well as a clean beauty and brow extraordinaire. Her shop on East Patrick street is a treat to go in and packed with all things beauty. You will find an amazing selection of luxurious skin care  products as well as awesome certificates for brow and makeup services. We are fans of their Dalish Mascara and Lakur Polish so be sure to check those out!
